Dasari Narayana Rao, the great director, commented harshly that the audio functions today look like “Recording Dances”. He severely basted the way the audio functions are going on these days. He said, “The producer must have a clear idea about why audio functions are being organized. Audio is just a curtain riser for the film. No one knows why and who performs the “Recording dances” in the audio functions now a days. It is our duty to promote our own film, and why should we do the same to some other’s film? Audio function is a good platform for taking the film into the people. Media is the only means of taking the film into the audiences and the theatres. Media alone shows the people what we are and what we have done. But today, leaving the media, we are going for some other silly means. So, I have decided not to attend those functions with unwanted dances and other attractions”.
Varun Sandesh and Haasika are pairing up for the film, “Priyatama Neevachata Kusalama”, being directed by Nakkina Trinatharao. The film will be released on 23rd March. The film is being produced under Sudha cinemas banner, by J. Samba Sivarao. The platinum disc function of the movie was organized on Tuesday, in Prasad Labs Preview Theater. The music was scored by Sai Karthik, and Bhaskarabhatla, Ramajogayya Sastry, Krishna Chaitanya are the lyricists.
Dasari Narayanarao has given the platinum disc memorials to the unit members. He said “Love is a great boon. Love and lust are completely different things. In the name of love stories, we are cheating the teenagers, who don’t know the difference between love and lust. We are looking forward to the small films. But, seeing the rubbish in the movies today, I question myself if we are encouraging all this rubbish. In how many movies can we use mobiles and SIM cards? It is not correct. Consider any language other than Telugu, love stories are continuously played in the theaters for years together. That is the greatness of love. In the films I have directed, there are about 15 love stories. Most of them are silver jubilees and super hits and there are no films, which have halted at the 100 days limit. Any film may play successfully for 3 or 4 weeks. But a cute love subject can run for years. The songs for the love stories can be written easily by the writers. Can anyone call the songs today as “songs”? Can anyone of the writers today say “I have written a great song”, heart fully? The reason is that the situations are not being considered these days. If this film has the inspiration of “Majnu”, as the director had said, it will definitely be a hit. Three of the songs in this movie have impressed me.”
Tammareddy Baradwaja, the president of the film chamber, said, “For the past ten years, “Good film” has become the unseen thing in Telugu Cinema Industry. In this film, the description of Love is very good”. “With the inspiration of Dasari’s “Majnu”, I have had a sad song written for this movie and this is a very healthy film”, says Trinatharao. Varun Sandesh said that the film was shot very well, in the Telugu atmosphere and the songs “Allari Allari” and “Preethi Preethi” received a good response. The producer of “Ala Modalaindi”, Samba Sivarao, the heroine of the film Haasika, actor Rao Ramesh, writer Rajendra Kumar, Music Director Sai Karthik, lyricists Bhaskarabhatla, Ramajogayya Sastry, Krishna Chaitanya and a few others have participated in the event.
