Pawan Kalyan’s wife Renu Desai turns producer

Renu Desai, wife of Pawan Kalyan, has turned producer for a Marathi film Mangalashtake Once More.

The film, which has Swapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve in lead roles, is currently being shot in Pune. 

The story of a film revolves around a husband and wife who are working towards saving their dying relationship.

“Marathi cinema is still under the influence of Hindi films. 

Marathi theatre has done well but Marathicinema has always taken a backseat.

 I have been born and brought up in Pune therefore I wanted my first independent production to be a Marathi film,” says Renu Desai.
