Summer Special : Cricket Vs Movies

Written By Admin on Saturday, 30 March 2013 | 23:25

The temperature is increasing. The people, unable to bear the heat, are thinking how the heat will be in the next month, if the temperatures are this way in March itself. If we keep this heat aside, as April enters, the cricket fever starts in the people. These fevers irritate the Cinema Industry. Though Cricket and Cinema are two different categories, our actors have played Cricket and the people enjoyed it as well. But, IPL is a different thing. The people generally do not like to miss the IPL matches that start from 3rd April and last till the final match on 26th. This is the main problem of the Cinema people. The exams have finished. Now, the students have holidays completely. The IPL has become a problem to the producers, who have made all the arrangements to release a movie in summer, so that there will be no problem to the collections. But, the big producers feel that the IPL season appears the same way, as the holidays come at the starting of summer, and that does not affect their movie collections. Generally, the count of the people who come to the theaters during Friday, Saturday and Sunday is more. But, the decision of IPL members to organize the key matches in those three days may be affecting the film industry. Still, some of the producers believe that this is not going to affect their movies.

The people, who are waiting eagerly for the IPL Cricket that would start in 4 days, are similarly eager for the release of three big movies that will hit the big screens in a span of 15 days. Cricket one side and big movies the other side….. Some of the producers who felt that it would be a waste of time to fall in a dilemma between these two, decided to postpone their films. But, there are also some producers, who felt that one should face a situation like this. Such people are ready to release their films. The interesting news is that some of the small films will also be released along with the big ones.

Baadshah” of NTR will be released just 2 days after the start of IPL matches. There are high expectations on this movie, directed by Srinu Vaitla, starring NTR and Kajal Agarwal. This is the biggest budget movie in the career of NTR. This film is believed to be a blockbuster hit. The producer of the film Bandla Ganesh says that IPL fever is not going to show any affect on the movie. Venkatesh’s “Shadow” will come before the audiences on 11th April, as an Ugadi present. The director Meher Ramesh, has molded the film to be a stylish entertainer. The producer of the film Paruchuri Siva Rama Prasad has produced the film without compromising anywhere.

Same way, Nagarjuna will come before the audiences as “Greekuveerudu”, on 19thApril. The film was directed by Dasarath and Siva Prasad Reddy has produced the film. The audio of the film will be released on 3rd April. Except in the days of interesting combinations of players, Semi Finals and Finals, there will be no loss to the cinema industry, as proved by the past. Apart from this, if the story has the power, there is no need to step back because of obstacles. This is the policy of today’s producers and this is the main reason, they are ready to release the movies, competing with the Cricket. Let’s hope for a “Blockbuster Movie Festival”, this summer.
